France-Taiwan Coproduction Workshop (15 and 16 January 2015)

In collaboration with the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, the Film Project Promotion section (FPP), the Taiwan Cultural Center in Paris, the French Office in Taipei and the Ministry of Culture, Republic of China (Taiwan), the CNC organizes in Paris a French-Taiwanese coproduction workshop, on 15 and 16 January 2015. This event will allow French and Taiwanese film professionals to come together and exchange ideas about French-Taiwanese film cooperation.

A delegation of 10 Taiwanese professionals, film producers and directors, selected by the Taiwanese Cultural Center in cooperation with the FPP, will present 5 film projects, presented in the enclosed catalogue.
The morning of 15 January will be dedicated to an Information Session during which presentations will be made on the subject of the various cooperation tools that France offers as far as film cooperation is concerned.
The Coproduction Workshop will take place from the following afternoon to the next day, allowing the Taiwanese professionals to present their film projects to French professionals during 30-minute individual meetings, which will be held from 15.00 to 18.00 on Thursday and from 10.00 to 18.00 on Friday. Meetings are to be booked in advance through Ms. Emmanuelle Deprats (emmanuelle.deprats@cnc.fr). Producers who wish to receive a copy of the script in English or links to the selected directors' previous films may also enquire about it to the CNC.
Simultaneously with the Coproduction Workshop, the Encounter with Taiwanese Cinema (insert link : www.cinema-taiwanais.com) will allow you to discover the previous films of the six directors taking part in the Workshop. Projections will be held on 15 and 16 January at 20.00 and 22.00. On this occasion, two projects will receive awards given by a jury of cinema professionals.
