Arcane Riot Games-Fortiche

Produced by the Parisian studio Fortiche, the series was awarded the Best Animated program Emmy at the Creative Arts ceremony. Nominated five times, it picked up four awards, including Best Animated series.

Adapted from the League of Legends video game universe, Arcane has won the Emmy Award for Best Animated Program on September 4, a first for a streaming series. Broadcast on Netflix in 2021, Arcane was awarded at the Creative Arts Emmys - a sort of pre-Emmy Awards ceremony for technical and animation awards - against productions such as The Simpsons, Rick and Morty or Marvel Studios' What If...? The series also walked away with three special awards for the following episodes: When These Walls Come Tumbling Down, Happy Progress Day! and The Boy Savior.

Produced by Riot Games (the publisher and developer of the game League of Legends), Arcane was made in France by the Parisian animation studio Fortiche. After the global success of the first season last year, the studio is currently working on a second season, which should be broadcast on Netflix in 2023.

The Arcane series has benefited from the Tax Rebate for International Productions (TRIP).
