It supports innovation, particularly to encourage the technical film and audiovisual industries, either directly (grants to technical industries) or by subsidizing producers who use innovative technologies (aids for new production technologies).
It also supports "research-development" through joint CNC and the national research agency (RIAM Network) projects.
