Provisional programme of professional events organised this year by the CNC during the Cannes Film Festival (from Tuesday, 13 May to Saturday, 25 May 2025).

The events will take place on Plage du Gray d'Albion - Boulevard de la Croisette and the Film France CNC stand (Marché du Film, stand no. 101– Village International, Riviera side).

Wednesday, May 14th

Young People Talk Together About their Big Screen Experience
Encounter organized by Région Sud, ACID, Les Écrans du Sud, in partnership with CNC – In French

Participants aged 15 to 25, with a wide range of cinematographic backgrounds, discuss their perceptions and habits of cinema-going, particularly in art-house cinemas, to explore motivations, obstacles and ways of making these cinemas more attractive and accessible to a diverse audience.

The Residence of the Festival de Cannes: Pitching Session
In partnership with the Festival de Cannes – In French

12 international filmakers developing their 1st or 2nd feature film have been selected to take part in this year's Residence of the Festival de Cannes.
At the end of the pitches, two of the Festival Residents will receive the CNC prize, awarded by a jury made up of:
