According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 13.68 million in July 2013, down from 16.97 million in July 2012 (-19.4%).
For the first seven months of 2013, France cinema admissions were 109.88 million, down 7.5% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 194.60 million, a drop of 10.9% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in July 2013 was 35.2% of total admissions. US features shared 54.2% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 37.5%, 47.4% for American films and 15.1% for other films.
