According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 25.9 million in November 2011, up from 19.3 million in November 2010 (+34.4 %). For the first eleven months of 2011, admissions totalled 191.3 million, a rise of 2.0 % compared with the same period in 2010. Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions were 210.5 million. It increased by 0.2 % year-on-year.
French films market share in the first eleven months of 2011 was 40.0 % of total admissions, (36.5 % between January and November 2010). US features shared 47.3 % of total admissions (47.3 % between January and November 2010). Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 39.0 %, 47.6 % for American films and 13.5 % for other films
