According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 16.80 million in March 2013, down from 20.91 million in April 2012 (-19.7%).
For the first four months of 2013, admissions totalled 64.09 admissions, a drop of 9.8% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 196.46 million, a drop of 11.1% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in April 2013 was 40.7% of total admissions. US features shared 50.0% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 37.4%, 47.0% for American films and 15.5% for other films.
