According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 19.13 million in April 2014, up from 16.58 million in April 2013 (+15.4%).
For the first four months of 2014, admissions totalled 75.67 milllion, a rise of 17.0% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 204.60 million, a rise of 3.8% compared with the same period in 2013.
French Films market share in April 2014 was 46.6% of total admissions. US features shared 42.5% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 36.3%, 51.7% for American films and 12.1% for other films.
