According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 17.96 million in April 2015, down from 19.26 million in April 2014 (-6.7%).
For the first four months of 2015, admissions totalled 74.18 milllion, a drop of 2.0% compared with the same period in 2014.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 207.49 million, a rise of 1.4% compared with the same period in 2014.
French Films market share in March 2015 was 42.5% of total admissions. US features shared 45.5% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 43.1%, 45.6% for American films and 12.0% for other films.
