According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 13.87 million in February 2013, down from 17.57 million in February 2012 (-21.0%).
For the first two months of 2013, admissions totalled 28.31 admissions, a drop of 16.0% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 198.85 million, a drop of 7.3% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in February 2013 was 36.7% of total admissions. US features shared 54.5% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 38.4%, 48.3% for American films and 13.3% for other films.
