According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 17.03 million in January 2015, down from 17.70 million in January 2014 (-3.8%).
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 207.7 million, a rise of 5.6% compared with the same period in 2014.
French Films market share in January 2015 was 62.2% of total admissions. US features shared 24.8% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 45.9%, 43.3% for American films and 10.8% for other films.
