According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 11.52 million in June 2014, down from 13.80 million in June 2013 (-16.5%).
For the first semester of 2014, admissions totalled 106.62 milllion, a rise of 11.4% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 204.54 million, a rise of 3.6% compared with the same period in 2013.
For the first semester, French Films market share was 48.5% of total admissions. US features shared 41.6% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 39.7%, 49.8% for American films and 10.5% for other films.
