According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 18.98 million in March 2013, up from 16.47 million in March 2012 (+15.5%).
For the first semester of 2013, admissions totalled 47.29 admissions, a drop of 5.7% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 201.40 million, a drop of 5.8% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in March 2013 was 40.4% of total admissions. US features shared 51.0% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 38.2%, 49.0% for American films and 12.8% for other films.
