According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 21.09 million in March 2014, up from 18.49 million in March 2013 (+14.1%).
For the first semester of 2014, admissions totalled 56.27 milllion, a rise of 18.6% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 202.41 million, a rise of 0.8% compared with the same period in 2013.
French Films market share in March 2014 was 46.7% of total admissions. US features shared 40.2% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 35.8%, 51.4% for American films and 12.9% for other films.
