According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 17.01 million in March 2015, down from 21.17 million in March 2014 (-19.7%).
For the first semester of 2015, admissions totalled 56.60 milllion, a rise of 0.3% compared with the same period in 2014.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 209.04 million, a rise of 3.5% compared with the same period in 2014.
French Films market share in March 2015 was 42.5% of total admissions. US features shared 45.5% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 43.1%, 45.6% for American films and 12.0% for other films.
