Theater Admissions in France: May 2014

According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 19.62 million in May 2014, up from 17.22 million in May 2013 (+14.0%).
For the first five months of 2014, admissions totalled 95.04 milllion, a rise of 16.1% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 206.75 million, a rise of 4.3% compared with the same period in 2013.
French Films market share in April 2014 was 47.7% of total admissions. US features shared 42.5% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 37.8%, 51.1% for American films and 11.1% for other films.
