According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 18.11 million in October 2013, up from 18.06 million in October 2012 (+0.3%).
For the first ten months of 2013, France cinema admissions were 153.23 million, down 5.5% compared with the same period in 2012.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 194.67 million, a drop of 9.0% compared with the same period in 2012.
French Films market share in October 2013 was 32.3% of total admissions. US features shared 55.0% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 32.5%, 51.3% for American films and 16.2% for other films.
