According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 18.37 million in October 2014, up from 17.72 million in October 2013 (+3.7%).
For the first ten months of 2014, admissions totalled 169.50 milllion, a rise of 11.4% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 210.98 million, a rise of 9.0% compared with the same period in 2013.
For the first ten months, French Films market share was 44.7% of total admissions. US features shared 46.9% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 43.4%, 47.3% for American films and 9.3% for other films.
