According to the last estimates made by the CNC, admissions in theaters reached 9.46 million in September 2014, down from 10.20 million in September 2013 (-7.3%).
For the first nine months of 2014, admissions totalled 151.64 milllion, a rise of 12.8% compared with the same period in 2013.
Over the past twelve months, estimated admissions totalled 210.83 million, a rise of 8.7% compared with the same period in 2013.
For the first nine months, French Films market share was 46.3% of total admissions. US features shared 45.7% of total admissions. Over the past twelve months, French films market share was 44.0%, 46.5% for American films and 9.4% for other films.
